A 16-year-old boy has died after he was stabbed in Moree this afternoon.
Police say the boy was fatally injured during an altercation in Balo Street shortly after 3 o’clock.
Another 16-year-old boy is assisting Barwon police and the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad with their inquiries into the teenager’s death.
