A teenager has been charged with murder after the death of a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed in Moree yesterday afternoon.
Police say the boy was stabbed during an fight in Balo Street shortly after 3 o’clock.
A passer-by took the injured teen to hospital, where he later died.
The teenager,also 16, was taken to Moree Police Station and charged with murder.
He will face Moree Children’s Court later today.
