STUDENTS EXPERIENCE FUN INTRODUCTION TO SCIENCE
10 local primary schools tested their ability to think outside the box at today’s Science and Engineering challenge in Tamworth.
Run since 2000, the challenge is designed to encourage students to consider careers in the field.
“Innovation is what the country needs, and we’re starting to generate that sort of skill at a very early age within these discovery days.”
Oxley Vale and Calrossy tied in the bridge challenge, with both structures able to cope with a seven kilogram load.
While Tamworth Public School were the overall champions.
