Hundreds of mourners at the funeral of aspiring equestrian star Olivia Inglis have heard how the 17-year-old was “an angel who taught her horses to fly”.
The young rider died in a freak accident during horse trials near Scone in the Upper Hunter, eight days ago.
Today, the state’s mounted unit stood guard at the entrance of a Sydney church for the service, which was attended by some of the equine industry’s biggest names.
