Former federal minister Luke Hartsuyker admits he’s disappointed about being dropped in yesterday’s reshuffle.
In a surprise move, the Cowper MP was replaced by Liberal Senator Scott Ryan as Vocational Education Minister.
“It’s always disappointing when something such as this occurs but the challenge is I’ve got a job to do as a local member, and I’ll have further duties to attend to in a different area which will be made public soon,” Luke Hartsuyker said.
He says he can now concentrate on what will be an expanded electorate for the next federal poll, taking in Port Macquarie as well as Coffs Harbour.
