98-YEAR-OLD WWII VETERAN EMBRACED BY GREEK COMMUNITY

75 years after they fought together against tyranny – two cultures came together today to honour a Hunter hero.

World War Two veteran, Alf Carpenter, was recognised by the Greek community for his continued friendship and support, which began on the battlefield.
