A man has been charged, over a bizarre chain of events on the North Coast yesterday.
Police claim the 19-year-old stole a car at Geneva, west of Kyogle, before attempting to rob a Nimbin home.
He then allegedly offered a 13-year-old girl a lift to school, later refusing to let her out of the car.
She managed to escape and call for help.
The man will face Lismore Local Court in March.
