Police are hunting three men in the Hunter Valley after the vicious bashing of a service station attendant earlier this month.
Armed with iron bars and a knife, the three burst in to the Metro Service Station at Tarro and attacked the attendant who tried to defend himself with a broom.
He received a large laceration to the head.
One of the thugs stole the injured attendant’s mobile while another jumped the counter and stole money from a til.
Police say the trio attacked another attendant at a service station at Stanford Merthyr earlier in the night.
