Inverell and Armidale galleries will share in $90,000 from the latest round of state government art funding.
The Inverell gallery will use $30,000 to install air-conditioning and solar power.
While Armidale’s Art Museum has been given $60,000 to improve its exhibition space.
“Arts in our community are playing an increasing role into the social cohesion and the value of our community, helps to attract tourism to the area without doubt and helps our local artists somewhere to display their work somewhere they are proud of.
