CAR NARROWLY AVOIDS TREE IN OLD BAR CRASH
A 35-year-old woman suffered non life-threatening injuries, when her car veered off Old Bar Road around 7:30 this morning.
It took almost an hour to free the woman from the wreckage, before she was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
“She’s lucky that there weren’t many other cars around, and when the car left the road, it actually missed a tree only by a few metres,” Chief Inspector Christine George said.
It’s not yet clear what caused the accident.
