Patients and staff will start moving into Kempsey District Hospital’s new Clinical Services Building this week.
The new emergency department will open its doors tomorrow morning, with the operating theatres set to be used from Thursday.
Patients from the Coronary Care and Medical Units will move into the new building.
The 80-million-dollar redevelopment was jointly funded by the state and Federal governments.
