Robert Thompson’s hoping to ride another winner in the Coffs Harbour Cup tomorrow.
The star jockey told a race club breakfast this morning he had to lose a kilogram in weight before taking to the track for his attempt at back to back cup wins.
The New Zealand born mare he’s riding has drawn barrier 8.
“Back to try and win another one, and Elusive Catch I’m riding for Liam Birchley from Brisbane and I’m sure she’ll run me a very good race,” Thompson said.
Gates at the Coffs Harbour Racing Club open at 11 am.
