PLANS TO GROUP NEWCASTLE TRANSPORT SERVICES UNDER PRIVATE OPERATOR

The Baird Government has unveiled another major change for Newcastle – grouping the city’s transport services under a private operator.

But Hunter Labor MPs have attacked the plan, and its timing – announced on the day work finally began on removing the rail line.
