After four days of deliberations, a jury has found a Sydney man not guilty of murdering a 44-year-old father-of-five in Port Macquarie last year.
34-year-old Chad Misiepo was however found guilty of manslaughter, for the death of Peter Martyn on New Year’s Day in 2014.
Mr Martyn suffered fatal stab wounds to his torso after being involved in an altercation on Norfolk Avenue.
Mr Misiepo was arrested several days later at Toormina.
He’ll be sentenced in Port Macquarie on February 5.
