An Ulmarra man remains on life support after being punched on a Coffs Harbour Street on Saturday night.
Police say the 26 year old was approached by another man at the corner of West High and Lyster Streets just after 10pm.
When the offender threw a punch, the victim fell and hit his head on the footpath.
Police are still trying to get a description of the offender, who was seen from a distance throwing the punch before running south along Lyster street.
Anyone with information is urged to call crime stoppers.
