  1. Hi Georgina, you spoke with my husband tody at Hexham. he is a 3rd generation fisher. Has worked this industry since he was 14 yr old. and more so grew up and has lived at Fullerton cove for 35 yrs+
    It should be noted that we are under a HUGE reform process at this time implemented by government. The impact of what the government is proposing has the potential impact to shut down 50% or more of current commercial fishers. this will leave Aussie without the opportunity to purchase freshly caught seafood. Imported seafood will be the only option when our fishers are forced from there industry.
    So not only is this going on but fishers are under enormous amount of political based on decisions made by previous governments……We truly need public awareness about this issue.
    Yes we are concerned about this contamination from RAAF but this commercial fishing reform will impact every single fisher in the NSW region.
