Palliative Care services that area stretched to the limit the Manning have been given a welcome boost.
$-15,000 has been provided by the state government to the newly formed ‘Push for Palliative’ group, designed to help put in place support services for families in need.
“$-15,000 doesn’t go a long way it would be nice if we got 150,000 or 200,000 and we could still spend that money we could spend that money in a week,” Push For Palliative Jim Holdaway said.
The group plans on spending the money on specialist equipment to allow those in palliative care stay at home for longer.
