WINTER SET TO MAKE A COMEBACK

Wednesday the 23rd is the Equinox meaning the sun will cross the Equator and move back into the southern hemisphere. This is official start of Spring but the first day will feel a lot more like winter.
A strong front is on its way and the pre frontal trough triggered storms and showers across the region today. It will start out fine and become very warm for northern NSW and SE QLD tomorrow. Throughout the afternoon the winds will increase and the temperature will begin to drop towards the evening as the front passes through the Hunter first and continue to quickly track north. The coast will be wet, windy and cold with dangerous seas and swell. West of the divide will be cold but little to no rain will fall.
