The Hunter’s energy sector is bracing for the worst, with hundreds of job cuts expected to be announced tomorrow.
The Electrical Trades Union says Ausgrid has indicated 600 jobs will go from its network which stretches from Muswellbrook, through to Newcastle, the Central Coast and Sydney’s eastern beaches.
Endeavour and Essential energy are also announcing cuts in other parts of the state.
