Residents will get to have their say on bulk water prices with several public meetings to be held before the end of the year.
Peel Valley water users pay twice as much as nearby catchments, and Tamworth Regional Council has been a strong advocate for standardised pricing.
The ACCC will hold a review of water charges on August 24, while IPART will host a public meeting in November.
Both meetings are seeking public submissions.
