A 51-year-old man has been electrocuted while working on an air conditioning unit on the roof of a building in Newcastle’s inner-city this afternoon.
The worker was carrying out maintenance at the Hunter Street building when he came into contact with the power supply unit of the system.
The man went into cardiac arrest, and couldn’t be revived by emergency services.
