TWO MEN CHARGED WITH DRUGS AND FIREARMS IN KURRI KURRI

Two men have been charged after police allegedly found drugs and guns in a car they were travelling in at Kurri Kurri over the weekend.

The two 29-year-olds were arrested after police searched a white Nissan Patrol at about 11.15pm on Saturday.
They were taken to Cessnock Police Station where they were charged with a string of offences, and refused bail.

They will appear seperately at Kurri Kurri Local Court in early July.
