The Australian Red Cross is looking to residents in northern New South Wales to help meet the growing demand for plasma.
The service will soon offer 9,000 additional plasma appointments at its Armidale, Tamworth, Taree, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour donor centres.
It’ll also close its demountable blood-only collection services in those regions.
The extra appointments will begin on August 1.
