FIVE MEN WITH LINKS TO COMANCHEROS CHARGED AFTER POLICE RAIDS

Five men with links to the Comancheros bikie gang have been charged after raids on properties in Kearsley, Thornton, Weston and Morpeth.

It follows investigations into a brawl at a Kurri Kurri hotel in February.

During yesterday’s raids, officers say they seized two unregistered firearms, 46 cannabis plants, cannabis leaf, cash, two knuckle dusters and two electronic stun guns.

Two men aged 30, a 28-year-old, a 40-year-old and a 42-year-old, have been charged with multiple offences, including affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.
