MUCH NEEDED INLAND RAIN STILL ON TRACK

The cloud set to deliver a little inland rain is now obvious on the satellite photo. It is heading toward the very dry NW that is struggling badly under the weight of drought. Falls are going to be patchy with totals mostly around the 10 to 20mm mark with some isolated heavier falls for the lucky few.

The system is still somewhat unorganised at this point and that’s why the rain will be patchy. A low will form on Friday and moderate to heavy falls will affect the Greater Hunter mostly towards the coast. That low will pull away quickly releasing more showers along the northern NSW and SE QLD Coast.
