BAKERIES GO PINK FOR BREAST CANCER
Bakeries across Tamworth have turned pink in the name of breast cancer.
The pink finger bun campaign aims to raise over $1.5-million, with 100 per cent of every finger bun sale going to the Breast Cancer Network of Australia.
Bakers were busy at a City Plaza store this morning – with thousands of pink finger buns expected to sell over the three-week campaign.
“This is our 15th year of Baker’s Delight supporting the Breast Cancer Network of Australia. So this year we’re aiming across 600 stores in Australia to sell our five-millionth pink finger bun.”
The campaign runs until June 3.
