INVERELL SHIRE COUNCIL TO LOOK AT LOCATIONS FOR MOBILE BLACK SPOT IMPROVEMENTS

Inverell’s mobile coverage could soon be improved, if Council’s application for federal black spot funding is successful.

Inverell Shire Council will look at eight locations for improvements, with Copeton Dam at the top of the list.

The large number of tourists a big reason why upgrades are needed.

“Particularly over the Summer holiday periods, our population basically doubles- you can have up to ten thousand visitors during that Christmas period at Copeton Dam.”
