Hundreds turned out for Lake Macquarie Council’s first Emergency Services Expo today.
One of the aims was to educate youngsters about those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
“The kids love getting on a fire truck, they love going in a police van, its really good because what they learn is police and people in those emergency services are there to look after them”
