The Tamworth Pirates have claimed some early plunder, taking home their third Armidale Knockout in a row.
Playing the hosts in the final, an early George Duddy try put the defending champions ahead.
Within five minutes, the Armidale Blues had levelled the score when Daniel Ah See touched down.
The match remained tight, but the Pirates overpowered the home team, winning 19-12.
While in the earlier plate final, Pirates cross-town rivals the Magpies came from 22-points down to trail UNE by just one.
But two late tries to the Barbarians claimed them the match, 44-28.
