Police are appealing for motorists to take extra care as rain, influenced by the Queensland cyclone, intensifies on the north coast.
This morning, a 21 year old woman suffered head and neck injuries when her car skidded in wet conditions and hit a road barrier on the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour.
The woman was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
South bound traffic was briefly disrupted.
