MAGOO POSTHUMOUSLY AWARDED SURFING HONOUR

Central Coast surfing legend Barry ‘Magoo’ McGuigan, has been posthumously awarded the Peter Troy Lifestyle Award.

The award recognises surfers who have dedicated their time to the culture, lifestyle and sport of surfing.

Barry is remembered as a true surfing pioneer, who raised thousands of dollars for cancer research with the annual ‘Magoo Charity Classic’.

He died this year at the age of 85, after a long battle with lymphoma.
