A man who allegedly led police on a pursuit in a stolen truck on the north coast has been arrested.
Officers caught up with the man in bushland at Wooyung on Tuesday evening, with the truck found at nearby Brunswick Heads.
It’s alleged the man crossed to the wrong side of the road during the pursuit, which started on Ewingsdale Road at Byron Bay around 8:30 in the evening.
No charges have yet been laid.
Anyone with dashcam vision from around the time of the pursuit is asked to contact police.
