Two Gold Coast athletes were honoured at last night’s swimmer of the year awards.
Melanie Wright was presented with golden moment of the year, along with her 4 by 100 metre freestyle team, for their record breaking swim at the Commonwealth Games.
Cam McEvoy received the people’s choice award.
McEvoy won gold in the 100 metre freestyle at both the national and Pan Pacific titles.
