One of Newcastle’s best-known swimming spots has reopened, after being off-limits for 5 months.
Dozens enjoyed the Bogey Hole’s newly-repaired swimming platform today and made the most of the warmer weather.
The platform’s composite fibre decking was washed away during big seas in July.
Crown Lands still oversees the historic site, but the state government department will meet with Newcastle Council to discuss its ongoing management.
