A 67-year-old man is dead following a head-on crash on the Pacific Highway near Taree.
Police believe the man was driving his Holden Astra on the wrong side of the road early this morning, then collided with a truck.
He was trapped in the car and later died at the scene.
The rig’s driver wasn’t injured, but was taken to Manning Base Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
