Tamworth’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been recognised for its commitment to workplace safety, named a finalist in the New South Wales Workcover Safe Work Awards.
In its 11th year, the awards recognise businesses and individuals making positive changes to work health and safety.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter is one of three finalists in the safety leadership category.
“It’s really exciting to see the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service, based here in Tamworth, which services the New England North West area has actually been recognised for its outstanding work in towards achieving safety goals and improved safety outcomes.”
Winners will be announced at the end of the month.
