A RAAF training exercise will see pilots learn to safely land an FA-18 Hornet, at Tamworth Airport tomorrow night.
An Instrument Landing System will also be used, with the equipment vital to touch down in the dark, or in poor weather conditions.
The continued operations in Tamworth confirms the city as a primary diversion airfield for the RAAF.
Training will start at 7pm, and is expected to last an hour.
