A former dentist in Armidale has been charged with historical child sex offences.
It’s alleged the 79-year-old indecently and sexually assaulted two boys – aged between 9 and 16 at the time – at his dental surgery throughout 1981 and 1982.
Detectives from Strike Force Holbeach began investigating late last year.
Yesterday they charged the man with 15 offences, including three counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
He’s been granted conditional bail and is due to face Armidale Local Court in October.
