A 37-year-old man charged over the deaths of two teenage hitch-hikers near Wauchope on New Year’s Day, will appear in court next month.
The man, whose name has been suppressed by the court, is facing two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death, two counts of negligent driving occasioning death and low-range drink driving.
He did not appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today and his case was adjourned until the 10th of May.
19-year-old Kane Bramble from Port Macquarie and 16-year-old Clint Ritchie from Wauchope died after they were hit by a four-wheel drive as they walked along the Oxley Highway.
