Relatives and friends of the Bowraville murder victims are organising a petition calling for a Royal Commission into the unsolved cases.
If they can get ten thousand signatures on the petition, the issue is then likely to be debated in state parliament.
Three aboriginal children were murdered at Bowraville almost 23 years ago but no one has been convicted of the crimes despite two trials.
The New South Wales Greens have offered to present the petition to parliament.
