MANNING GREAT LAKES POLICE HOLD FIRST BLUE LIGHT DISCO FOR TEENS

In an effort to foster a stronger relationship with local teens, police in the Manning-Great Lakes are holding their first ever Blue Light Disco for high school students.

“It’s about the kids going somewhere that’s safe to have fun and to have an interaction with police they normally wouldn’t have so it’s all about breaking down barriers and having fun with people, police and young people.”

Police are hoping to attract 200 people to the event.

It’s on from seven to nine on Friday night at the Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club.

Tickets are $5 per person.
