MARINE RESCUE SERVICE BROKEN INTO FOR THIRD TIME

Marine Rescue at Lemon Tree Passage is counting the cost after its boat was broken into over the weekend.

A window had to be repaired after being smashed, while a defibrillator worth $800 was stolen.

It’s the third time in two years the volunteer-operated group has been targeted.

“It’s all charitable money, it’s all money that’s been donated by local members and the local community and every time there’s a break in it costs a lot to replace.”
