Police are investigating the theft of a RiseForAlex donation bucket near Newcastle overnight.
About 12.50am today the donation bucket was stolen from the counter of McDonalds at Broadmeadow.
Police are looking for a man of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s, skinny build and was wearing an ‘Adidas’ brand hoodie and khaki coloured pants.
The RiseForAlex Fund has been independently established to provide injured Newcastle Knights player Alex McKinnon with ongoing financial and medical support.
