ARMY RESERVE SEARCHING FOR NEW RECRUITS IN TAMWORTH
The Beersheba Barracks was open to the public in Tamworth today, giving locals a chance to explore different career opportunities provided by the Army Reserve.
Tours of a protective mobility vehicle, lessons on how to load and shoot a rifle, and fitness testing were on offer.
“We’re open to people that want to be anything from cavalry scout which is an armoured crewman, through to nurses, clerks, storemen. So we are pushing for recruits because obviously we want to maintain the unit within the Tamworth area.”
