It was the longest night of the year – and for one 17 year old boy, the longest night of his life.
The Newcastle teenager fell 80 metres down a cliff in the Watagans State Forest, west of Lake Macquarie.
He’s now in a serious condition, after spending hours freezing, and in pain, before rescuers winched him to safety.
