Police are appealing for information, after a car was struck with a projectile in West Kempsey.
Just after midnight, a 27-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were woken when a car stopped outside their Tabrett Street home and sounded the horn.
It’s believed they then heard a gunshot.
The woman’s car, which was parked outside, appeared to have a bullet hole through the front window.
No-one was injured.
