A 21-year-old woman will face Newcastle Local Court today following the alleged attempted armed robbery of a service station at Lake Macquarie overnight.
It’s alleged just before 9.30pm, the woman entered a service station on Main Road, Cardiff, and threatened the console operator with a packaging knife and demanded cash.
The woman left empty handed and was arrested a short time later with a 27-year-old man.
The woman was charged with robbery with an offensive weapon and the man was released.
