Five people have been pulled from the sea 32 miles off Newcastle after their boat capsized just after 4.30 this afternoon.
They were winched off the hull of the runabout by the rescue helicopter, which had responded to an emergency beacon.
They’re being treated for hypothermia in Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital after spending five hours in the water.
