A young man injured in an early morning street brawl at Goonellabah last month has died from his injuries.
The 29-year-old and his 19-year-old friend were at an address on Eggins Place when an argument erupted with two other men.
Police say the altercation escalated into a violent brawl on a nearby street, in which the man suffered critical head injuries.
Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing for more information.
