The preliminary design for a seawall to tackle coastal erosion at Old Bar, was on display to the public this afternoon.
Taree Council joined state government representatives in hosting an information session, to gauge the community’s feedback.
The draft plan looks at building the structure in stages, starting with a section at the southern end of the beach.
The design will be finalised in the coming weeks, before it’s sent to the state government for funding consideration.
